Our worship service is simple and focuses on Jesus and the Truth found in the Word of God, the Bible. There are no "frills" or distractions when we sing - we sing acapella style to praise God from our hearts. (Ephesians 5:19) Our prayers are led by various members and are from the heart. We have the Lord's Supper every Sunday and share bread and fruit of the vine in remembrance of Jesus' sacrifice. We are taught by our minister, who provides lessons in Biblical Truth.
You may park in the lot at the corner of Philadelphia Ave. and Mifflin Blvd. You may also park behind the building off Gretchen Drive and go up the stairs inside for worship service. Handicapped parking is available behind the building or adjacent to the entrance on Philadelphia Ave. If there is no handicapped parking available, don't worry! We have a golf cart that can take you to and from the building!
Our church is a "hospital for sinners, not a hotel for saints". Come as you are, but remember whom you are coming to worship: The Creator of the universe, the Holy of holies, the King of heaven and earth.
Table talk is a time after fellowship, where we sit in groups of 10-12 people to review the day's sermon and share how we relate to the Word of God. It is a great way to get to know people, to share each other's lives and to pray for one another.
We have a children's class that begins immediately after the Lord's Supper. Children will be called to the classroom by a song from the congregation and led to classrooms to learn about Jesus, scripture, or a story from the Bible. They will get to play or create a craft and may have an opportunity for a snack. Make sure you tell one of the greeters that you would like your children to attend the class and they will provide a name tag for you and your child.
Our offering is a free-will offering. You may donate as your heart moves you to do so. You may donate anonymously in the donation box in the foyer, on our app, or our website.
